Suzuki GSX-R description

I have for sale my 2003 GSX-R1000K4 bike. As you can see, the pictures show a very nice condition motorcycle, well-kept, always garaged, very clean. Has a clean title, 33k miles and the following features:

  • --New Progrip racing grips with GSXR blue bar ends
  • --LED integrated turn signals, front and back
  • --Fender elimination kit
  • --Good battery always on a tender in the garage
  • --Frame sliders
  • --Tinted aftermarket windshield
  • --Brand new Pirelli Diablo racing tires
  • --New chain
  • --Rear cowl and extra passenger seat
  • --Custom GSXR seat
  • --New mirrors
  • --Shorty exhaust (what a great sound!)

This GSXR is VERY fast, probably faster than any I've owned or ridden. All electronics are in working condition. No real visable wear anywhere on the bike. A few specks of missing paint on the white part of the tail and a small scrape on the lower right front fairing (hardly noticable), but that's it. Great bike a at great price. If you have less than 50 bids (feedback), please don't waste my time. You must email me first or your did will be CANCELLED! For sale locally, so the auction may end early. BID NOW-this is one fantastic ride. Needs nothing!

Will include a matching size L Evo Scorpion helmet (not pictured). Rear stand  NOT included in auction. Thanks for looking.

Suzuki Developing 1000cc Prototype – MotoGP Return in 2014 Still Possible

Fri, 03 Feb 2012

The first MotoGP pre-season test at Mayalsia’s Sepang circuit is complete, with Ducati, Honda and Yamaha‘s factory and satellite teams, as well as a handful of CRT entries, collecting data for the next stage of their race prototypes’ development. Absent from testing was Suzuki which announced last November it was leaving MotoGP racing. Suzuki cited the recession, the rising value of the Japanese yen and the natural disasters afflicting Japan in 2011 as reasons for leaving MotoGP, but the manufacturer did say it intended to return in 2014.

Anti clockwise Knockhill and riding in the North East with GP winners.

Wed, 06 Jun 2012

I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.

Schwantz, Tsujimoto Team Up For Yoshimura Legends Team At 2014 Suzuka 8-Hour

Sat, 01 Mar 2014

Former 500cc World Champion, Kevin Schwantz, will pair with former Japanese Champion, Satoshi Tsujimoto, in this year’s Suzuka 8-Hour race. The duo originally tackled Suzuka together in 1986, ultimately coming in third position. Now the two are back in celebration of Yoshimura’s 60th anniversary, as part of the company’s “Legend Team.” Yoshimura will also field a second entry with former Australian Champion Josh Waters and All Japan Superbike rider Takuya Tsuda.
