Up for bid is my ORIGINAL 1989 SUZUKI GSXR 750 with 25,414 miles. This is a all original oil cooled GSXR with original fairings (VERY RARE) . Recent work completed last summer-Full service(oil change,spark plugs,etc .) Dunlop rear and front tires, new brakes front and rear, new clutch and brake levers, Newer Yoshimura slip-on exhaust, New Zero Gravity Windscreen, new turn signals. This bike runs, drives and sounds incredible! It has been adult owned and taken care of from day one, Normal wear and tear for 27 years old, Clean title in hand ready to go. Yoshimura Offering Limited Edition Suzuki GSX-R Sportbikes
Thu, 12 Apr 2012Yoshimura made a name for itself tuning championship-winning Suzuki racebikes, but for the first time, the company is producing a run of limited edition Gixxers for the public. Yoshimura R&D of America is offering a number of 2011 and 2012 Suzuki GSX-R600s, GSX-R750s and GSX-R1000s equipped with a host of upgrades. Each individually numbered GSX-R comes equipped with EPA- and CARB-compliant Yoshimura R-77 carbon fiber slip-ons and a number of aluminum CNC machined components.
US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
University Of Calgary Team Zeus To Compete In eMotoRacing Event At Miller Motorsports Park
Fri, 08 Aug 2014eMotoRacing will hold it’s eighth race of the 2014 season at Miller Motorsports Park, in Tooele, Utah. Though there has been a great stirring of rumors as to who will be in attendance, one thing is certain — there will be a good mix of contestants, including the official Brammo racing team, and Team “ZEUS” of the University of Calgary. “ZEUS” stands for “Zero Emission Ucalgary Superbike,” and the team is comprised of engineers, business and physics majors. The team will be racing their Generation I bike, which uses an Agni 95-R motor mounted to the frame of a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R 600, which was straight from the factory, and then stripped of its gasoline engine components.
