for sale is my 2012 Suzuki DL 1000 adventure, It has been garage kept since new the following accessories have been added: Givi tall wind shield with Madstad mount, Progressive front fork springs, Give engine guards, head light guard, 12v accessory outlet, fresh battery this season with dual compound Battle ax tires. The bike has never been down no scratches or dings. Currently has 12600 miles on it may go up a little while listed but not much, I reserve the right to end this auction anytime as the bike is for sale locally also. please feel free to contact me with any questions. I will add some close up pics all I have on laptop is vacation pics right now

NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.

Powered by a 248cc liquid cooled in-line twin-cylinder engine, the GW250 would seem an ideal choice for newcomers not interested in sportbikes like the Honda CBR250R and Kawasaki Ninja 300. Metzeler decided to develop new compounds for the Roadtec Z8 Interact precisely to meet these needs, tyres with the specific goal of providing riders not only the most recent technological solutions available in the area of wet performance, but also the possibility of having a tyre with a wide range of use that represents the new standard in terms of performance in any weather conditions, from wet and cold to hot and dry. The criteria considered in the wet test by Motorrad TestCenter have been: steering precision and characteristics, line holding during acceleration, ease of handling, grip at lean angle for front and rear tyres, grip during acceleration, limit range characteristics, feedback at lean angle, braking stability during full braking with ABS.
