Suzuki Boulevard description

2006 Suzuki Boulevard C50. This model comes with a 800cc V-Twin engine. Suzuki V-twin is water cooled and not air cooled which makes it nice because it dosent overhead.

About the bike:

I got this bike new from Honda Suzuki of Warren here in MI. This bike has been serviced at the dealer and oil changes done by me. Bike runs like a champ and I just took it to South Dakota for bike rally and put 600 miles on it. I dont really ride this bike alot anymore because I have two other bikes and one has to go. I only used it for long trips but now I own a Harley and use that to justify money spent on it. Bike has all fresh fluids and tires are about 90%. I got those replaced last season. Bike comes with a oem full windshield and everything else is stock on it. This model has a shaft drive which is nice and smooth compared to a chain or belt. So like I said its a solid bike and needs nothing to be on the road. It rides nice and smooth and is super quiet. Its a very good bike for cruising. Seat is great and seating postion is very nice. It comes with a 5 speed trans that shifts smooth like butter. The only other thing that I did to it is put a HID headlight on it since I rode alot at night.

Condition:

Bike is in very good condtion for the year and miles. There is a tiny scratch on the rear fender that can be buffed out. Only other blemish on the bike is on the right side of the tank and right side of the front fender. Few years back I took it to Daytona and someone tiped the bike over in the parking lot. Only thing that got scratched was the tank in the front and fender corner had paint chip and small crack. I never fixed it because it never bothered me all that much. To fix it all you have to do is paint the fender and get a new sticker from Suzuki for the tank. I priced out the parts few years back and it was only like 300 bucks for all. Like I said its nothing and you can fix it or leave it alone. Other then the two scuff marks the bike shows amazing and is turn key.

You can call or text 248-819-8835 for offers or questions. This will be a no reserve auction. I had this bike listed few months back but local guy that bought it never came up with the cash.

Bike is for sale on the local market and this auction can end at anytime.

Day 7 Dakar 2014: Barreda Wins Another

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

After a day of rest, Sunday’s stage seven was characterized by rain during the night and a new Dakar country – Bolivia. After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.
