For auction is a 2006 Suzuki Boulevard 800 C-50 motorcycle. The bike has 6,211 miles and it is in great condition. The paint and chrome are like new but it does have a small scratch on the front fender, rear fender and gas tank. The paint looks to be a midnight blue with gray and it also has gray pinstripes, the paint also has flakes in it which makes it pop when it's in the sun. The bike has a new front Michelin tire and a new battery. The bike was serviced last year and has not been ridden this year. The bike starts just fine and sounds great. The reason for selling is working long hours and just don't have the time to ride anymore. If you have any questions please call the owner at 270-847-7194

Fri, 19 Feb 2010ANOTHER CRACKING BIT of vintage racing footage, this time featuring multiple motorcycle world champion Phil Read on the awesome-sounding MV Agusta 500-4.The footage is from the 1974 movie 'The Iron Horse' made by Frenchman Pierre-William Glenn.Read’s 1974 500cc World Championship victory was the last year a four-stroke won the world title before the advent of the MotoGP class in 2002. Giacomo Agostini won the crown from Yamaha in 1975, followed by Suzuki-mounted Barry Sheene in '76 and '77. The footage is bloody good, considering the camera technology of the day.

Suzuki to Relocate R&D Facility to Lower Tsunami Risk Area
Thu, 07 Jul 2011Suzuki is considering moving its motorcycle research facility from its current coastal location to its main factory in Hamamatsu, Japan, to decrease the risk of damage from future tsunamis. According to a report in the Nikkei business daily, Suzuki is acquiring more land in Hamamatsu to house the research center and other facilities. Suzuki CEO Osamu Suzuki first brought up the idea to relocate some of its higher risk coastal properties during its 2011-2012 fiscal year forecast report.
