I'm selling this on behalf of my brother-in-law. Please bring all offers. He purchased this used during university, worked on it and got it running but recently it has just been sitting in his garage and barely used. This motorcycle needs a new home.
It was last running 6 months ago and will just need a simple fix to get going again given that it's been sitting. Needs carburetor flush, and maybe a new battery or a good charge. We would like to sell as-is. Overall "good" condition- there are spots of rust on the mirrors, some scratches and general signs of wear. Body is great and never been in an accident. I'm not an expert on cars or motorcycles but feel free to contact me with any questions. We have also accessories to go with it (fitted cover, helmet, gear backpack) Clean title. 27k miles. New Photos and Video of Suzuki Extrigger Electric Monkey Bike Concept
Wed, 27 Nov 2013Suzuki has released new photographs of the Extrigger, the company’s electric minibike recently unveiled at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. Suzuki also released a video of the Extrigger in action, though oddly the audio seems to have been left off. A potential electric competitor to the Honda Grom or Kawasaki‘s mini-supermoto KSR Pro, the Extrigger is powered by the same 580 W AC synchronous motor that propels Suzuki’s e-Let’s scooter.
Land Speed Record Holder Bill Warner Dies Chasing 300 MPH Record
Mon, 15 Jul 2013Land speed motorcycle racer Bill Warner succumbed to injuries suffered in a 285 mph crash at Loring Air Force Base in Maine. The 44-year-old from Wimauma, Fla., reportedly lost control of his modified turbocharged Suzuki Hayabusa while attempting to reach a speed of 300 mph. Warner reportedly began veering to his right during one high-speed run on the base’s runway after clocking 285 mph.
Suzuki Reports 2012-2013 Fiscal Year Results
Fri, 10 May 2013Suzuki reported an operating loss of 11.9 billion yen (US$117.1 million) from its motorcycle business for its fiscal year ended March 31, 2013. The loss stems from a 10.7% decrease in motorcycles sales and a 9.6% decline in motorcycle revenue from its 2012-2013 fiscal year. According to Suzuki‘s year-end report, motorcycles accounted for 230.3 billion yen in sales revenue, down 254.8 billion yen reported the previous year.
