Suzuki Adventurer description

Selling my 1973 Suzuki GT185.  Bike is all original except for pods on carbs (carbs were re-jetted for pods) and near perfect condition 9.5 plus / 10.  Only a couple minor imperfections in paint and chrome (some slight acid dropping on left muffler, slight patima on top of tank). All electrics (including electric starter) work as new.  However, horn button could use replacement as works intermittent, horn unit is OK.  Compression good as new both sides.  All seals and bearings were checked recently and good as new.  Engine runs very strong, shifts like new, starts easy.  Near new battery.  Recent complete tuneup and checkup.

I don't like to sell this bike but I need the room in my garage for other projects.  Comes with owners manual, service manual, tool kit and both keys.  Clear AZ title my name.  This bike has been very well taken care of through the years and shows it.  Can use as a daily driver or show bike.  Bid with confidence.

Buyer responsible for pickup and delivery within 7 days of auction close.  $500 deposit via paypal required at auction close and balance within 3 days.  No bidders with less than 25 positive feedback please unless approved by me first via messaging.

John Hopkins British Superbike Round 2 Rundown

Tue, 06 May 2014

The Tyco Suzuki team is looking ahead to next week’s International North West 200 after a tough weekend at Oulton Park during round two of the British Superbike Championship. American John Hopkins took ninth place in Monday’s second race at the Cheshire venue after retiring from the opening encounter in the closing stages due to a problem sensor, which caused an intermittent misfire on his Tyco Suzuki GSX-R1000 Superbike. His team-mate Josh Waters took a brace of 13th-place finishes for his Oulton Park efforts and despite his obvious disappointment, the Australian did significantly improve his lap times from his visit in 2013.

Suzuki to Join MotoGP Test at Catalunya

Tue, 26 Feb 2013

Suzuki plans to take part in the mid-June MotoGP test at Spain’s Catalunya circuit. If all goes according to plan, the June 17 test, which follows the sixth round of the 2013 MotoGP season, will mark the first time a Suzuki MotoGP bike has shared the track with the prototypes from rival manufacturers Ducati, Honda and Yamaha since 2011. When Suzuki announced its withdrawal from MotoGP racing in 2011, the Japanese manufacturer said it planned to return for the 2014 season.

Suzuki Requests Invite to Official 2013 MotoGP Tests

Tue, 11 Dec 2012

When Suzuki pulled out of MotoGP racing a year ago, the manufacturer said it hoped to return by the 2014 season. In the time since suspending its MotoGP program, Suzuki has been showing signs it is on track for a 2014 return. Work on Suzuki’s 1000cc MotoGP project is apparently proceeding as planned, with the manufacturer reportedly ready to join official testing during the upcoming season.
