1986 BMW K100 -- "The Flying Brick" These motorcycles were the first BMW released with a 4-cylinder engine, to compete with the Japanese manufacturers, and a departure from their "boxer" style 2-cylinder engines This bike has about 28,000 miles, I am continuing to ride it so mileage will change Bike is in excellent mechanical condition Normal wear-and-tear cosmetically for a ~38 year old bike, there are a few scratches and a small dent on the tank Comes with 3 removable luggage boxes: one top case and two side cases, all factory BMW Recent Maintenance: Engine, Gearbox, and Final Drive oil replaced annually Valve check at 27,500 miles Coolant flush at 27,500 miles Fork oil at 27,000 miles Fuel pump and filter at 27,000 miles Air filter at 26,000 miles Spark plugs at 26,000 miles New tires at 25,000 miles Replaced gear indicator with working LED
