1970 Other Makes Solex on 2040-motos

This little 1970 Solex 3800 was used on set by Steve McQueen during the filming of the movie Lemans in France. Steve and Chad were frequently seen on this moped. Later shipped over to Canada from France in the late 1970s by one of the movie crew Herman Germaine which acquired the Solex from Claude Beri. Herman sold the Solex to a gentleman in Michigan in the 1980s then later it was sold down south. Runs very good,headlight and tail light work.  No speedometer. Has new carburetor,headlight,gas tank and flywheel cover. Original parts included in the auction. Motor and frame number match the numbers on the  original paperwork. Comes with current California registration,title and license plate.
