This is a 1968 Sears / Gilera-built 106SS. It is a single-cylinder, 106cc, Italian made bike. I bought it in the condition you see it -- a decent restoration including paint and polishing of the engine cases, metal parts, etc.
The bike has not run while I have owned it, but I was told it did before that. The engine turns over with no apparent issues. Wheels in pretty good shape, with some minor rust. Tire tread looks good but some dry-rot is apparent. I bought the bike as a project, and am moving where I no longer have the space to work on it. I noticed the frame was bent after purchase. Sale include a straight replacement frame and Italian-made vintage muffler. Clean Michigan title. Thanks for looking! |
