Norton Commando tech info
Norton Commando description
I have a 1975 Norton Commando 850 that is in great condition. The bike has been restored for the most part but still has the right cool patina. A Corbin cafe style seat, new Ikon shocks ($400), new Tri-Spark electric starter. I have a lot of the original parts including the seat, handlebars, shocks and numerous other parts. There is some pitting and scratches but it is really minor. I'm selling because I've decided with my short stature (5'3") that it's a bit too big for me. I've literally put a few miles on it since I bought it back in May. Trust me, I hate to give up such a beautiful bike.
Clear Title. Buyer to arrange shipping and/or pick up. No returns. Please send me a message if you have any questions. Thanks for looking. |

Short Synopsis: When a young man is confronted with his mortality, he takes a cross-country road trip on a vintage motorcycle (a Norton Commando). One Week tells the story of Ben Tyler (Joshua Jackson), in his mid-twenties, who flees from the confines of his life—an impending marriage, a job he’s not entirely happy with and a recent diagnosis—in order to attempt to live more fully.
Bonneville from a parallel universe
Fri, 20 Sep 2013This is the Triumph Speed Twin Concept, a bike commissioned by Triumph to show what the Bonneville might have evolved into, in a parallel universe. I love the concept. Designed by Roy Norton and Tom Kasher who were on a placement at a design studio, I get the impression the pair are into motorcycle and not just designers.
