Moto Guzzi Norge description

I bought this bike new in 2010 from a KCMO dealer closing Guzzi’s out. I had a BMW 1200 LT, and this sports touring Norge reminds me of that, but it’s light, low, very manageable and as fast as you want. No scraps or marks at all except on the nose where a garage door came down on it. See pic. First trip to Sturgis I took off the middle side fairings. All sports touring bikes seem to like the Tupperware – I don’t. Plus taking it off gives better ventilation. I have them if you want. I put specific aftermarket riser bars on it, had the seat built in the ball room area and installed a Break-Away Throttle Lock. Works great. ABS, electric shield, 12 V under the seat, huge hard bags, etc. Made front peg mounts if you want to remove the belly plastic and stretch out. No issues with this bike. I just got Harley fever – but I’ll be back to sports touring again. I have put 750 miles a day on this Norge and felt fine afterward. Will ride it to a destination within 400 miles of Kansas City following payment.

Moto Guzzi Revives V7 in US

Mon, 05 Jan 2009

If contemporary society has taught us anything, it is that few things are held as sacred. Shameless film and television remakes are rampant while musicians sample (steal) any beats or mixes they deem suitable that will gain their crumby creation attention. In regards to motorcycles, there are times when retro-inspired modern engineered creations work, like the Triumph Thruxton for instance.
