1975 Moto Guzzi 850T Black 8264 Miles VIN: 92609 Clear Title Original Key and Owners Manual A rare chance to own an original example of one of the most iconic bikes of the last century. This 1975 850T has a 2 owner history and is american delivered (Premier Motor Corporation, NJ). The bike comes with original key and owners manual as well as factory straight through pipes. Bike has never been crashed or dropped and has no structural rust. Mechanically the bikes runs fine, but could do with a tune up. Original centre stand is working fine, but side stand is no longer (can be purchased new for $90). A new clutch and cable was fitted by previous owner. Rear suspension is a little tired. Leaked Photo Shows 2013 Moto Guzzi California 1400 in Touring Trim
Fri, 28 Sep 2012Back in March, Piaggio Vice President of design Miguel Galluzzi revealed the Italian firm would release several versions of the new Moto Guzzi California 1400 including a full touring version. We’ve seen photographs of the new California in prototype form from Piaggio‘s North American dealer meeting, but we’ve now come across a picture of what looks like the final production version in full touring trim. The picture, appears to have been leaked from an official catalog photoshoot, shows the new Moto Guzzi California 1400 with hard bags, engine bars, extra lighting and windscreen.
Classic Japanese Bikes Highlight Bonhams’ Next Auction
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Bonhams’ annual fall auction, the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, at Stafford County Showground is scheduled for October 20, 2013. Included in the auction is the above pictured 1974 Kawasaki H1-RW 500cc triple. Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.
Vespa 946 Production Model Confirmed for North America
Mon, 19 Mar 2012Piaggio confirmed it will be importing the production version of its Vespa 946 (a.k.a. the “Quarantasei“) to North America, representing the next generation of scooters from the iconic Italian brand. The 946 was presented alongside the Aprilia Caponord 1200 and Moto Guzzi California 1400 at Piaggio’s North American dealer meeting last week in Miami.
