2013 MV Agusta Brutale 800 Announced
Fri, 02 Nov 2012MV Agusta has made it no secret it is producing an 800cc motard-styled model using a larger version of 675cc three-cylinder engine from the F3 and the Brutale 675. MV Agusta had been openly talking about the new model, expected to be called the Rivale, releasing a sketch of it earlier this week. Less discussed, but probably expected, was the same larger Triple engine would appear in another version of the Brutale.
One-Off Ferrari Tribute Motorcycle Sold for $137,700
Wed, 02 May 2012A one-off officially-endorsed Ferrari motorcycle has been sold at auction, taking in 85,000 British pounds (US$137,700). That’s a hefty sum for a motorcycle, but far less from the initial reserve price of 180,000 pounds asked for when the bike was first up for auction in 2008. The Ferrari motorcycle was designed and built by former MV Agusta engineer David Kay in 1995 as a tribute to the Italian car-maker’s founder, Enzo Ferrari.

While somethought the new model mightbe a wire-wheeled version the Turismo Veloce, unveiled at EICMA last year, this video clearly shows MV is going in a different direction. Paying homage to the all-American sport of drag racing, the video showcases some American iron and the V8 engines that propel them in all their glory.
