The MV comes with Arrow  Headers which improves the torque and power in the middle a lot and the sound is awesome.

Massimo Tamburini: 1943 – 2014

Massimo Tamburini, creator of some of the industry’s most iconic motorcycle designs, has succumbed to lung cancer at the age of 70. Tamburini was diagnosed with the disease last November and underwent chemotherapy treatment but passed away April 6. Earning renown for designing motorcycles such as the Ducati 916 and the MV Agusta F4, Tamburini’s name will be forever linked with those two companies, as well as Cagiva and helped found Bimota (Tamburini is the “Ta” in the company’s name.) Massimo Tamburini (right) with another late motorcycle industry icon, Claudio Castiglioni.

MV Agusta Brutale California with … um … Wood Vibrations

MV Agusta has revealed a new one-off special edition model by Italian architect and designer Simone D’Auria called the Brutale California. Based on a 2012 MV Agusta Brutale 1090 R, the California model is clad in carbon fiber with D’Auria’s signature timber-inspired wood pattern, a style he calls “Wood Vibrations“. This isn’t the first time D’Auria has designed a wood-inspired carbon-fiber Brutale California for MV Agusta.

A collection of 71 classic MV Agusta motorcycles will be up for sale in an auction, Aug. 16-18 in Monterey, Calif. Organized by Mecum Auctions, the auction will be for all 71 motorcycles to be sold as a single lot.
