This ABS versions incorporating two riding modes: Normal and Race Mode, the unit employed is the Bosch 9 MP, the market leader offering the maximum performance in the lightest and most compact package which makes it the ideal unit to incorporate into the limited amount of available space on the Brutale. The Bosch ABS unit incorporates internal pressure sensors which work together with the independent wheels speed sensors to give the internal control system the required vehicle information. The ABS has been developed with the precise objective of offering the most secure and effective deceleration in all riding conditions without sacrificing the braking power and progressiveness for which the Brutale has become known. In order to offer the maximum liberty to all riders, the ABS system can be deactivated by the rider by way of the vehicle control software via the menu in the speedometer. Additionally, on the Brutale 1090 ABS there is the Race Mode which can be utilized specifically on the race track or during aggressive street riding. Ten years later, the F4 begat this beast, with 1078cc and supposedly able to roll at 312 kph. Among the MOites, only the mighty Tor Sagen was able to smite it.

Mon, 09 Oct 2017Perhaps no group of motorbike aficionados appreciates special-edition models like fans of Italian sportbikes, and MV Agusta is back at it again with its limited-edition 2018 F4 RC superbike. The RC stands for Reparto Corse, which translates to Racing Department, a nod to MV’s efforts in the World Superbike championship with rider Leon Camier. The F4 RC is hand-built by the Italian manufacturer and is said to represent “the peak of technical evolution and dynamic performance.” It uses a hot-rodded version of the Corsa Corta inline four-cylinder engine purported to produce 205 horsepower (151 kW) when measured at its crankshaft.
