An absolutely beautiful 2000 Kawasaki W650 for sale. It was my good friends dream bike. He bought it new and had to travel to Yankton South Dakota to get it. So a lot of the miles are drive in miles. Unfortunately he passed away before he had much of a chance to enjoy it. His son stored it in a climate controlled basement for many years, starting it periodically to keep all the parts lubricated. The carbs were professionally cleaned this spring. The bike is very fun to drive and runs great. It is nearly mint condition. I can't see any blemishes at all. It still has the little sticker on the tach. The chrome is perfect, just a little yellowing on the top of the exhaust pipes for running. The tires are original and are in excellent condition. This is an opportunity to own a truly classic bike that was only brought in to the US two years. It was made to look like an early Triumph or BSA only all of the modern electronics. Really a head turner when people see it. Bike is located in Menomonie, WI and that is one hour east of the twin cities on I 94. Shipping is on you own but I will assist you in any way that I can. Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
