Kawasaki Vulcan description
2009 KAWASAKI VULCAN 500 LTD EN500 This 500 was just traded-in. It is in fair condition and has low miles 3K. The bike is completely stock. It has been dropped a couple times on each side. The damage is is only cosmetic. The tank has a dent on the right side. The tank emblem is damaged on the left side. The exhaust mufflers both have some scratches on the ends. (see pictures) Nothing is bent or broken. I have detailed and safety checked the bike. I will be installing a new front tire as it has some rot and new front brakes. The rear tire and brakes are fine with the tread on the tire like new and no rot. I have cleaned the carburetors. All the lights, horn and gauges work 100%. I have taken this Vulcan on a reliability run and the engine, clutch and transmission all work and sound as they should. French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.
Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season
Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
Kawasaki KLR650 Returning For 2015
Tue, 09 Sep 2014One of Kawasaki’s most popular sellers, the go-anywhere, do-anything KLR650 will once again be a staple of Kawasaki’s 2015 lineup. Preferring to run on either dirt or asphalt, the dual-purpose bike is very versatile, able to take riders almost anywhere they wish to go on- and off-road. The 651cc Single may not be the most inspiring engine in the world, but it gets the job done.
