2000 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1500cc Motorcycle Fuel Injected! No Reserve! on 2040-motos
Kawasaki Vulcan tech info
Kawasaki Vulcan description
This auction is for a 2000 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad. This bike is powered
by a 1500cc Engine, and has a 5 Speed Transmission. It runs perfect in every way, shifts through all gears nice and smooth, and is very
comfortable to drive. It has a few nicks, blemishes, and/or other very
minor imperfections here or there but looks every bit as nice in person
as it does in the pics. I'm sure the winning bidder will be very happy
with it. Lots of storage in the locking hard bags (same key for ignition/bags/gas cap) and an additional bag can be put securely on the luggage rack for long trips (I typically use bungees to attach a medium size, black suitcase, if I go on a long/two person trip). This bike has only 23,633 actual miles on the
odometer, and I have a clear title. This is a "no reserve auction"... if you have zero, or a very low feedback score, please contact me before bidding.
The noteworthy items that I have added:
Jardine exhaust pipes ( pretty quiet at idle, louder sound when cruising or revving, but not obnoxiously loud )
Kawasaki light bar with fog lights
Kawasaki chrome front disc brake covers
Large wind shield/lowers (no helmet beffeting)
Thunder Mfg. air intake kit
Techlusion fuel injection controller
Mustang seat / driver backrest pad / tank bib
Sissy bar / Mustang passenger backrest
Luggage rack
Kawasaki tachometer
Lots of chrome accessory items
Back tire replaced less then 500 miles ago, front tire replaced less then 2,000 miles ago ( Metzler Marathon ME-880 tires, these usually last for around 7,000 miles )
Anyone
interested in purchasing this item is welcome , and encouraged to come check it out in person before bidding (I live near Salt Lake City, Utah and would be glad to pick you up at the airport, if you like)... as all sales
are final, and the bike is being sold AS IS. Winning bidder will be
expected to pay a $500.00 non-refundable deposit at auctions end (this
is payable through Paypal). I prefer the rest of monies to be paid in
cash (or cashier's check that can be cashed, when I sign the title over at my local Chase Bank, Wells Fargo Bank or US Bank) at or before actual date of pickup (within 14 days after close of auction). Any other payment method will
require total clearance of funds, before this item is actually picked up (and title is signed over).
Buyer is responsible for picking up this item and for any associated
sales tax, and or titling fee's.
If you have any questions, or in case I missed anything, please call me at 801-556-4891 and ask for Bill. I'll be happy to help any way I can. Thanks for looking, and good luck!

Kawasaki Issues Recall on Unauthorized Concours 14 Police Models
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Kawasaki announced a recall on 44 2012-2013 Concours 14 potentially faulty motorcycles allegedly converted for police use without the manufacturer’s consent. Back in early 2012, Kawasaki announced a recall on 278 2009-2012 Concours 14 police motorcycles because the add-on equipment installed by Idaho-based Beaudry Motors suffered electrical problems. According to the recall documents, the electrical system installed by Beaudry could overload the charging circuit between the regulator and the two batteries and eventually blow the main fuse.

Behind The Scenes: The Making Of the Ninja ZX-6R vs The Isle of Man Video
Fri, 15 Feb 2013You may remember last fall’s release of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R was accompanied by a mind-blowing short video commercial of a rider screaming around the 37.33-mile Isle of Man TT course aboard the new 636 Ninja. Now, Team Green has just released a “Making Of” video about the production of that video, featuring TT star James Hillier. This behind-the-scenes short film shows the crew capturing Hillier as he passes within millimeters of the camera. You’ll see the camera-equipped pursuit bike racing side-by-side with Hillier, as well as the aerial heli-cam.
