Kawasaki Other description

i have a 1980 kz440b    rat rod bobber for sale

is electric start only. works great. bike starts, idles, runs, stops GREAT!
this bike is a rocket...
has brand new dual sport tires.
brand new 530 O RING chain (gold) and sprockets.
brand new wheel bearings and seals. front and back.
brand new fork seals. with new fluid.
brand new head light, has high low beam
brand new tail/stop light
brand new pod filters
brand new spark plugs
custom hard tail stretched 5 inches.
short pipes with jetted carbs!
sporty peanut tank. with new petcock and filter (NO RUST)
seat is very functional. being a hard tail, doesnt feel like one. NO BLEEDING KIDNEYS haha! and i weigh 200 lbs.
drum brakes front and rear.
clutch feels great.
battery holds charge.
charges @ 13.5 volts
manual choke.
daily rider!
clean and clear notarized arizona title!

this bike handles very well. and turns heads all day long. loud and proud!
i have videos on my facebook. private message me if you want to see them roasting the old tires
no reserve!
good luck.

like i said. i have a clean and clear notarized Arizona title ready to rock and roll.

if you haven't noticed, i got nickles stuffed into the seat post. seat also has nice valve springs for the suspension. they work very well.
horn works.....
licence plate bracket has etched flames. (hard to see in pictures)
people dont usually know this but the kz440b with spoke wheels and dual drums is a very rare find. most people have disc front with mag wheels and a drive shaft out back. makes the bike that much better!
this bike has NO problems what so ever starting and stay running. very healthy engine.

i have the sprockets geared slightly higher. with the 6 speed OVERDRIVE trans, bike will cruise 80 mph and has no problem reaching 100 mph. 0-60 very quick. like holy crap quick!
fuel tank hold 2.1 gallons of fuel topped off. has reached 60 miles to the gallon, when babied!

very fresh with new parts...

i dont build bikes to look pretty. i build bikes to be fast, functional, and DEPENDABLE. slap some stickers on it and roll out!

all my welds are solid with nice fully penetrated beads and gussets for added strength.

Kawasaki Issues Recall on Unauthorized Concours 14 Police Models

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

Kawasaki announced a recall on 44 2012-2013 Concours 14 potentially faulty motorcycles allegedly converted for police use without the manufacturer’s consent. Back in early 2012, Kawasaki announced a recall on 278 2009-2012 Concours 14 police motorcycles because the add-on equipment installed by Idaho-based Beaudry Motors suffered electrical problems. According to the recall documents, the electrical system installed by Beaudry could overload the charging circuit between the regulator and the two batteries and eventually blow the main fuse.
