Kawasaki Other description

-2000 Kawasaki KZ1000P for sale with 65,000 miles.

-I bought this a little while ago without the wife’s permission and kept it hoping she would change her mind… but she’s making me get rid of it, so my loss is your gain

-In the last year the bike has had the following work done: New battery installed, Valves adjusted, Gas tank cleaned, Chain oiled, All 4 carburetors gone through and cleaned

-Bike starts up nice and easy and still has pretty good power, engine doesn’t smoke and no leaks. Everything electrically on this bike works: gauges, lights, blinkers, and has yellow pursuit lights installed where the red & blue cop lights were. The bracket is still installed where the siren goes but the siren is missing. The back storage box is missing the latch. For a bike that is 13 years old this thing is actually is great condition both running and cosmetically.

-This bike was a decommissioned cop bike and then solely used as an escort vehicle so mostly all the miles are highway/freeway. Cosmetically there are only a few light scratches which I’ve been told would buff right out, No major dings, No Rust.

-See the links to YouTube below to see and hear the bike running and to see the lights functioning. I have tried to cover everything about this bike but if I missed anything please let me know.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSsinjcBkrI

-The bike is being sold as is & is also being sold locally so I reserve the right to end the bidding early. For the money you won’t find a bike listed this low in running condition. No reserve. Buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping and or pick up within 7 days of purchase.

WSBK 2013: Monza Race Report

Mon, 13 May 2013

Eugene Laverty and Marco Melandri split a pair of victories at Monza but the most biggest news from the World Superbike weekend was a strange series of appeals after Race Two that saw Tom Sykes finish third, relegated to fourth and then reinstated on the final step of the podium. The unusual mix-up occurred after Sykes, sitting in third place, ran off track and into the run off area on Turn 5 on his final lap. The Kawasaki rider returned to the track again in third place where he finished ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.

2025 Kawasaki KLX230R / KLX230R S Review

Mon, 11 Nov 2024

Designed to inspire addiction Kawasaki would like to think it knows its customer possibly better than they know themselves, and anyone invested in bringing new riders into the sport understands the importance of setting them up for success. A new rider’s first steed should be approachable, forgiving, playful, price-conscious, and cool. Kawasaki has set out to offer the perfect bike on all fronts, and in my opinion, they have succeeded.

WSBK: 2012 Magny-Cours Results – Championship Decided by Half a Point

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.
