2005 Kawasaki Concours, Used, Touring Motorcycle, Two Tone Pearl Luster Beige /, Four-stroke, DOHC, 16-valve in-line four, Liquid cooled 1000cc, 18507 mi., 595 lbs. EXTRAS include custom backrest/travel rack, extra set of used but very good condition OEM saddlebages, new never used OEM windscreen, Kawasaki manual, Clymer manual, and headlight bulb. Bike has never been laid down or damaged in any way. NO Katrina damage. Ridden in rain only twice and always kept under cover. On average, gets 42 mpg. Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.

The TV show CHiPs was what first got me interested in motorcycles. A young boy when the late 70′s show made its debut on the air, I thought it was extremely cool to be on the California Highway Patrol, but especially so while riding around on a Kawasaki 1000. Erik Estrada even had a cool name and car on the show, going by ‘Ponch’ and driving a Firebird.
