Kawasaki Other description

2002 Kawasaki ZZR1200,  The Open Class Sport-Touring Ninja.  Exc condition, 1 Owner, 28k miles.  Brand new Michelin Pilot dual compound front tire (done after these pics were taken)  Catz H.I.D. headlights HI & LO beam, 1-1/2" bar risers, Stainless steel braided brake lines frt & rear, Recent chain & sprockets (+3 teeth on rear). I did the clutch over about 4 years ago.  All decals and emblems removed, Rear fender trimmed. Paint is almost perfect with just a few scratches on the lower faring. Rare color.  It's Silver with a blueish metallic flip-flop.  I get lots of compliments on the color.  It looks clean and classy without all the decals and emblems.  Completely stock other than what's mentioned above. Always garaged. No mods ever done to intake, exhaust or engine. Honestly this thing is fast enough already.  Adult owned and maintained since day one.  All scheduled maintenance has been performed per Kawi specs. My father is a retired Kawi certified tech of over 20 years. Also included are a number of spare parts, a premium indoor storage cover and a factory Kawi service manual. Not for beginners this bike is basically a Ninja ZX11.  Sols as-is no returns.  Local pickup only.  Certified bank check or CA$H.  Must be paid in full within 5 days of auction end.  Thanks for looking.

Put a sting in your 2010 Z1000's tail

Fri, 19 Feb 2010

SCORPION has released an all-new new silencer for the 2010 Kawasaki Z1000.   The slip-on silencer requires no additional modifications: bolt on and go.Consistent power improvements throughout the rev range have been seen, with no adjustments to the fuelling, say Scorpion, with an average increase 3bhp.The new silencer has been acoustically developed to provide a greatly enhanced engine note.  This means the bike will be as loud as the original in terms of a dB reading, but the exhaust note offers a deeper growl. However, removable baffles allow the rider to dramatically alter the tone of the exhaust by simply removing one bolt per silencer.
