24" Cee-Bailey Aircraft Plastics windshield. Bergmen Engineering spin on oil filter adapter. Gen-Mar bar risers. OEM Kawasaki GTR1000 fairing extenders.. Accel super coils. All new brake pads 8-21-13. Avon Venom tires are about 1/2+ worn. This bike always starts instantly and runs great. Everything works as it should. Very low miles for a year 2000. I use it daily so miles will increase. Tail trunk (J.C. Whitney) and small rack. Custom fiberglass front fender extension keeps oil cooler and radiator clean and protected. There are a few very small scratches on the front fender. I have all original parts except the windshield. Ride this bike to work or across the country. I bought this from a retired gentlemen in 2006. Please no trade offers although may consider a GL1500 with cash adjustment. Pick up only, but may consider delivery between Woodridge, Il, and Lake Geneva, Wi. (on my schedule) as I ride that route frequently. Bonhams To Auction Bruce Smith Collection Of Original Illustrations
Fri, 11 Oct 2013On October 20, Bonhams will be auctioning off a collection of original illustrations by Bruce Smith from the 1960s and 1970s. Each one will be signed by Smith on heavy cartridge paper. The collection is comprised of cutaway illustrations of a 1963 Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc, Chris Vincent’s 1964 BSA 650cc A65 Race Outfit, and a 1966 Greeves Racer, the largest of this series being 45cm x 62cm.
Kawasaki Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 02 Aug 2011Kawasaki reported a 8.7% decrease in motorcycle sales over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011. The motorcycle and engine division (which includes ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft and general purpose engines) generated sales of 59.8 billion yen (US$775.4 million) , a decrease from the 65.5 billion yen (US$848.9 million) reported from the same period last year. Overall, Kawasaki Heavy Industries reported a profit of 9.56 billion yen (US$123.8 million) over the quarter, compared to a profit of 5.88 billion yen (US$76.2 million) reported last year.
