Kawasaki Other description

I bought in July 2012 completely stock with about 5000 miles and it has 7214 on it now.  I only took it out about 2-3 times a month. Due to my first baby I just haven't had the time to ride anymore. The bike has always been kept in my garage and I haven't ridden it since April 2015. The gas and oil have been emptied and will need a new battery which is why I'm listing it AS IS. As far as I know it just needs standard maintenance like new gas, oil and filter, battery, and carbs will probably need to be cleaned.  I will also include an electronic copy of the service manual.
The bike has been lowered so it's good for shorter people or if you just like lower bikes like myself.  Most of the parts I got were from one of the only stores (Webike Japan) that carry parts for this bike  in Japan. They started selling on ebay. The only thing I had left to do was to upgrade the stock exhaust. I used to have bar end mirrors which you can tell from the wholes at the end of the grips. Because the bike is lowered it is difficult to kick up on the center stand. I posted a pic of what I did when I had to change the oil. I used a concrete paver to roll the back tire on so it jacks it back up an inch. And in case you didn't know, this bike has a kick start which sold me on it over a Triumph.

Modifications:
front and rear turn signals
brake light
front and rear fenders
Progressive fork springs
Hagon rear springs (Lowers the bike about an 1.5")
short kick stand
clubman handlebars
painted gas tank and headlight bucket in Oct 2014

Thanks!

Colin Edwards Joins Forward Racing CRT Squad for 2012

Fri, 02 Sep 2011

Colin Edwards will join the Forward Racing team to compete in the 2012 MotoGP season as a Claiming Rule Team entry. Edwards, known as a good development rider and an even better quote machine, is the first rider to officially sign on with a CRT. Forward Racing may be more familiar to some race fans by its former name, Hayate Racing, the outfit that ran the Kawasaki ZX-RR with Marco Melandri in 2009 after Kawasaki pulled out of MotoGP racing.
