Kawasaki Other description

I never talked to the previous owner so I don't know a lot about this bike. I jump started it and it sounds ok but it keeps revving up so it must need some carb work. I have not been able to drive it yet because I just put a pre-owned tire on the back and found a bad bearing on the drive side of the back wheel. A pair of them are about $50 on-line but I haven't had the cash to get them yet. I was hoping to get it together because obviously it will be worth more when it's drivable, but I need money now.The fairing is a bit broken up, the seat is torn, the battery is bad, and the front tire is pretty worn. Please call or text Dean at. Thanks!

Recall for 2009-2010 Kawasaki KLX250

Tue, 05 Jul 2011

Kawasaki is recalling some 2009-2010 KLX250 models due to a risk of leaky fuel tanks. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the fuel tank on affected motorcycles may not be in contact with the frame-mounted rubber dampers designed to support the front of the tank, and the tank side mounting tabs may have excessive clearance from from the frame. As a result, spot-welded sections along the side tabs may be under excessive stress, potentially resulting in cracking and a fuel leak.

With a nickname like The Green Hell, the Nurburgring Nordschleife is nearly 13 miles of terror wrapped up in a historic race track. Famous for its sheer length, close confines, and the fact it is open to the public most the year, the Nurburgring has a dual reputation as a great testing facility and a widow maker – certain reports estimate as many as 12 deaths a year here. To lap here in under 10 minutes is considered a fast lap.
