Up for bid is a 1983 Kawasaki 750 Spectre. This is the first bike I have ever owned and thoroughly enjoyed it. It does run but needs some starter work and a tune up. It has a 4 cylinder motor. Shaft Drive. It needs some cosmetic repair that I probably should have done when I bought it but did not have the time or expertise to complete. Tires are in decent shape. It has a custom backrest. I have never dropped this bike, but it was purchased used from a dealership who did not have details of previous owners. The front turn signals have been replaced with aftermarket LED signals. The originals were broken. This may make someone a great restore project as the Spectre is not a very common bike. This is also listed locally. Winning bidder is responsible for pick up. The popular Irish road race that takes place along the 37.3-mile Snaefell Mountain Course is known for its high speeds, courageous riders and the fact that it’s held entirely on public roads. Perhaps a more outrageous race is the North West 200.
2014 WSBK – Laguna Seca Results
Mon, 14 Jul 2014Marco Melandri rebounded from last week’s disappointing Portimao round to win Race One at Laguna Seca while Tom Sykes extended his championship lead with a win in a red-flagged Race Two. Melandri got taken out of the second Portimao race after his Aprilia teammate Sylvain Guintoli slid into his RSV4. Melandri looked eager to make up for that DNF, leading every lap of Race One on his way to his third win of the season.
AMA Supercross: 2012 San Diego Results
Mon, 13 Feb 2012Ryan Villopoto captured his second straight victory, winning the San Diego round of the 2012 AMA Supercross championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider now has three wins on the season, two more than anyone else, but his hold on the championship points lead has only increased to six points. Villopoto took the lead on the second lap of the main event after overtaking Brett Metcalfe of Yoshimura Suzuki who took the holeshot, with Villopoto‘s teammate Jake Weimer also in the lead group.
