Kawasaki Other description

1979 Kawasaki KZ650SR - - Engine & trans good / Frame straight - - Good tires - Still not bad looking . This bike needs to be serviced and have missing parts replaced to be a driveable bike.

If you have KZ650 parts and are into putting some effort into having a ride, this could be a nice bike for cheap.  Comes with factory service manual. I am sure it could run fine / It has a clear IL title / know specifically what parts are missing, and what it needs.

Bike last ran 4 years ago – In indoor storage since. 13249 original miles. Blue paint still nice. I have not been able to get into the tank (gas cap partially stuck – did not want to force it but it will come off). Original exhaust headpipes are blued but no rash on the bottom – Aftermarket slip-on mufflers are very nice. Near-new (under 500 miles) Dunlop rear tire – Front tire still OK.   Carbs need cleaning / needs battery and the usual stuff for a bike left to sit.

In addition the following parts are missing from the bike >  Front brake master cylinder, lever, calipers, RH mirror, and lower hoses / Chain Guard / Ignition breaker & advance mechanism  (has good Andrews coils & good wires) / tach lower cover  /  Seat hinge pins  /  Headlight rim & beam section / Misc. hardware.

Can deliver within 150 miles for an additional charge. 10% discount off winning bid if picked up and paid cash.

2014 AMA Supercross – Indianapolis Results

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Ryan Dungey captured his first win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season in a wild main event that saw two of the top title contenders crashing on the starting straight at Indianapolis‘ Lucas Oil Stadium. Smartop MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi took the holeshot for the second race in a row, but the big news was incoming points leader Ryan Villopoto and Ken Roczen going down before the first turn. Roczen trailed Villopoto by nine points going into the Indianapolis round, but the KTM rookie’s hopes of overtaking the reigning champion took a blow when he went down on the straight, knocking Villopoto off in the process.

Kawasaki Confirms New Z1000 Arriving at 2013 EICMA Show

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

Kawasaki confirmed it will introduce a new Z1000 on Nov. 5 during the 2013 EICMA show in Milan. Team Green has been running a teaser campaign for the new Z for a couple of weeks now, so this isn’t exactly surprising news, except to confirm the new model will continue to use the Z1000 designation.
