Barn Find Bike vin Z1F501752 1976 Kawasaki KZ 900 with only 11,000 original miles, this bike has spent its life tucked away here in Northern Maine. Wrapped in a Vetter Windjammer fairing until this summer, the bike has always been ridden gently, the 2nd owner parked it in 06, It had new tires put on that year and was ridden less than 200miles, I put a new battery in this year along with a new fuel petcock, the bike starts and runs on all 4 cyl, but should have a full service including oil change, plugs, fuel lines and carbs cleaned before hitting the road, the chrome is really nice, but the original paint is baked..... it should be redone but can be ridden as is if you so choose. the seat also has a couple age splits....comes with period correct crashbars and sissybar ... and under the seat is the original tool kit and rear tray with the original owners manual...overall this bike is in great condition.... Maine does not title anything built before 1995 so the bike will have a Transferable Registrations and Bill of Sale thats good in all 50 states for transfer of ownership, and will work for our overseas buyers as well. 2011-2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Recalled for Crankcase Oil Leak
Fri, 10 Aug 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall on its 2011 and 2012 Ninja ZX-10R due to a potential oil leak in the crankcase. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, engine oil may leak from the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R‘s crankcase from a machined area where the starter is mounted. Leaked oil may pool on top of the crank case and, under continued use, spill onto the rear tire, reducing traction and increasing the risk of a crash.
Brammo Earns Seventh Place Against Gas Bikes
Mon, 06 May 2013This past weekend, Brammo arrived to Sonoma Raceway in Central California ready to do battle. Only this time the electric sportbike manufacturer would be trading blows not with other electric bikes, but with their ICE counterparts at the second round of the American Federation of Motorcyclists series — one of the oldest club racing organizations in the country. We recently mentioned Brammo’s eligibility with AFM, and this weekend was the first outing. Team Icon Brammo and its two riders Eric Bostrom and Steve Atlas competed on the Empulse RR machines while third rider, Shelina Moreda, rode the Team Parker Brammo Empulse TTX — a modified version of the road-legal Empulse.
Isle of Man TT 2013: Royal London 360 Superstock Results
Mon, 03 Jun 2013We’re only three days into the racing action for the Isle of Man TT and one rider has already established himself as the star of this TT. Michael Dunlop, of the famous Dunlop racing family, took the victory at the Royal London 360 Superstock race, giving him his third win of the 2013 Isle of Man TT. The latest win gives Dunlop six in his career on the Mountain Course, tying him with such noted names as Geoff Duke, Jimmie Guthrie, Jim Redman and John Surtees.
