I've had this bike a few years, it had a stuck valve and sat around. I had a new top end put in the engine a couple years ago, and have just been slowly bringing it back to life ever since New body work and reproduction exhaust from Z1Parts.net New tires, tubes, wheel bearings. front wheel re-laced new o-ring chain and sprockets new fork tubes, seals, shocks of course all new brake lines, pads and shoes re-chromed fenders restored original gauges new bars, switches and all cables new seat original air box and K&N filter Lots of new rubber grommets, bushings, etc Last pictures are of a brown 74 and a blue 75 I have that are close to completion and will be listed soon A lot of time and money has gone into this one. 2014 Kawasaki KLR650 New Edition Revealed
Fri, 13 Dec 2013Kawasaki revealed an updated version of its popular KLR650 dual-sport at the New York International Motorcycle Show. The new KLR650 isn’t exactly a full model-year replacement as Kawasaki had already announced the 2014 model; instead Kawasaki is calling it the KLR650 New Edition, offering it for a retail price of $6,599, a $100 premium over the “old edition” KLR650. The extra Benjamin Franklin gets you new springs for both front and rear suspension, multi-contour dimpled seat and revised graphics.

Built in 1894, it's about to be auctioned and is expected to reach a world record price (for a kettle). It uses a coal furnace to super-heat water into steam which is fed into a small engine.
