This motorcycle is in good condition for almost 40 years old .It is in unrestored "survivor" condition and runs, shifts and handles well.Being almost 40 years old and unrestored it has minor wear and tear, chips scratches , dings , metal finish tarnish or color change etc.

This bike has only 3176 original miles.I purchased this bike 3 years ago from a friend who never rode it.He purchased it in 1997 from the original owner. I have been in contact with the original owner who verified he only put on 2900 miles. He installed the Denco chambers . It comes with the original exhaust complete with baffles and center kick stand. It has the stock air box , sparkplug holder & original tires.  It also comes with  owners manual and service manual. It has never been dropped or crashed. I am the third owner and this bike has been on Long Island since new. This is a rare find with this low milage. Please e-mail me or call  with any specific questions. Kawasaki Producing 599cc 2013 Ninja ZX-6R for Japanese Racing Homologation

Wed, 31 Oct 2012

When Kawasaki announced it was upping the engine displacement for the Ninja ZX-6R to 636cc, the immediate question on many Team Green fans’ minds was what it would mean for the company’s supersport racing efforts. Kenan Sofuloglu won the 2012 World Supersport Championship on a Kawasaki ZX-6R, but under the regulations, he may not be allowed to defend his title next season on the 2013 model as homologation requirements in Supersport racing series limit Inline-Fours to displacements smaller than 600cc. Fear not however, as Kawasaki will be producing a special version of the ZX-6R with an engine displacement of 599cc, the same as the 2012 version.
