Kawasaki Ninja description

We bought this motorcycle as a graduation/ birthday gift for our son last summer.  As it turned out, he only put a few miles on it over several months, and then decided this spring that he wanted to join the marines, so the bike has been in our garage ever since.  He has graduated boot camp and has decided that he wants to sell the bike and buy a truck ( more practical).  He babied this bike, and made sure that he didn't get the RPM's over 5000 for the first 700 miles, in order to break the engine in correctly. The bike has never been run any faster than 8,000 rpm ( redline is 13,000) We just got it serviced at the dealer for the "1st" service, where they changed the oil, checked all fluids, adjusted the chain, etc.  It has also been into the dealer to take care of the recall notice that we received, where they replaced an electronic controller.  Apparently, all 2013 Ninjas were recalled for this.  Although we never had a problem, it's nice to know the recall notice has been taken care of.  Although the standard warranty expired just last week, I have no problems with you having the bike checked out by a Kawasaki dealer, to ensure you that the bike is indeed in " like new " condition.

This bike cranks the instant you touch the start switch, and idles and runs as smooth as silk.  The bike has zero scratches, and looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor.  It has been stored in a garage, and never ever left outside in the sun or elements.  The tires are in great condition, like you would expect of a bike with only 1674 miles.

We paid cash for the bike, and have a clear title.  If the purchaser lives anywhere in MS, LA, AR or East or Central TX, I can bring the bike to you for NO CHARGE, as long as you don't mind waiting a week or two so that I can arrange my schedule. ( I travel these states for my job).

If you pay the " Buy it now" price, I will throw in the helmet for FREE ( $200 value).  It is a Large, and matches the bike really nicely.

Former F1 Champ Fittipaldi Producing Limited Edition Kawasaki ZX-10R

Fri, 13 Jul 2012

Emerson Fittipaldi is probably best known for his four-wheel racing career which include two Formula One World Championships, a CART racing title and two Indy 500 victories. What might be less known, at least outside of his native Brazil perhaps, is Fittipaldi owns a pair of Kawasaki motorcycle dealerships. The 65-year-old former racer and his team has produced a limited edition run of 50 Kawasaki ZX-10R sportbikes in the black and gold colors of his 1972 F1 Championship-winning John Player Lotus 72 car.
