Kawasaki Ninja description

20,730ish American miles. Starts, runs, goes places. Exhaust baffles have been removed so you can annoy your parents. Goofy flame decals were removed (this removal added 5hp, I'm sure of it.) It has been dropped so that's already out of the way. It has some scratches shown in the pics, but that only makes the boys/girls/sandwiches that you're trying to impress think that you've seen some s#*t. Front turn signals are wonky, but functional. It's high time that the chain and sprockets should be replaced.

Perfect for the beginner biker boy/girl/commuter/adventure seeker.

Comes with a full tank of gasoline and a smile.

If the price goes over $1600, I'll buy you a buffet dinner at Golden Corral the day you pick it up. Whether or not you'll enjoy my company is questionable, but Golden Corral does have a variety of meats and soft serve ice cream choices.

2014 WSBK – Aragon Results

Mon, 14 Apr 2014

Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.

Kawasaki Z1R.

Thu, 09 Dec 2010

These two beautiful Z1R Kawasakis appeared at the annual Mooneyes Yokohama Custom show last weekend. With one sporting a street/strip look (spot the belly-scraping ride height and rigid rear struts) and the other undergoing a sort of modernisation, they both reminded me just how handsome and unique the original slab-sided Z1R was.  Judging by some of the other wild and weird exhibits I made a mental note to myself: must make sure I'm in Japan this time next year.

Oh hi there Mobil!

Wed, 07 Mar 2012

There was a time when Grand Prix racing was a lucrative affair, with the bikes and their riders resembling the fag packets that sponsored them. However, two unfortunate and costly blows hit the paddock; the banning of tobacco advertising in 2005 followed by the global economic crisis. The off-shoot saw grid numbers drastically dwindle with staple teams, like Kenny Roberts' outfit, and manufacturers, Kawasaki and Suzuki, succumbing to the events and disappearing.
