Kawasaki KZ900 description

We buy vintage motorcycles, parts and collections!

Mach IV Motors

Please note: payment is due within three (3) days of auction end

Up for sale: One very nice 1976 Kawasaki KZ900 (***SEE BELOW FOR TERMS OF SALE) - I decided to let loose this very original, low mile KZ900. This is a very honest bike - the only thing that I can tell has changed is of course, the exhaust. There is no sign of any touch up paint or replaced hardware. I do believe even the Gold Seal tires are original to the bike. The stock paint is in excellent condition, chrome throughout whole bike is very, very good - with the exception of the front fender but I did not think anything should be replaced so it remains. Some frame paint should be touched up due to the fairing mounts that were on the bike - I did not do this as I want the bike to remain in untouched condition, as found (minus the fairing). Sorry, the tool kit is missing but it does have the original owner's manual. The bike runs, all systems work as they should, performs as it did when new. Look at all the pictures, like I said - this is just a very original example of a low mileage bike - please see pictures for additional details (PLEASE NOTE THE PICTURES COUNT AS MOST OF THE DESCRIPTION, LOOK AT THEM ALL). Buyer responsible for pickup / shipping. Trades welcome. ***Price is $7,000 or best offer, plus $99 service fee (fees and balance after deposit to be invoiced after item ends). Paperwork is required to complete this transaction to properly transfer title shown. Following the sale, we will invoice for the $99 service fee and any balance due through PayPal and we will email through Docusign the required paperwork. When the docusign process is complete and invoice is paid, we will mail hard copies of paperwork. Original, signed copies must be returned in enclosed postage paid envelope before the title will be sent. Wisconsin residents may require electronic processing of form MV11 and may not receive title shown but title issued by state of Wisconsin. MACH IV MOTORS, LLC 600 E HANCOCK ST APPLETON, WI 54911 920-540-9090. TAX, TITLE, LICENSE FEES NOT INCLUDED.

The parts that I sell are off used bikes in used condition unless otherwise specified (like our NOS items). I try to describe the parts as best I can and try to answer all questions to the best of my knowledge. These are used parts and most show standard wear and tear for the age of the bikes that they came off of. So please ask questions or for better pictures if needed. NOS parts show normal shelf wear for the age of the parts.

When we list the parts for a bike - we list everything we have. If you do not see an item, it was either not usable or has already sold.

RETURNS: I offer a 100% return policy minus shipping. If I miss something in the description it is an honest mistake I DO NOT MISREPRESENT PARTS TO MAKE A BUCK.

FEEDBACK: If there is a problem, please contact us before leaving a negative rating. Issues can always be worked out - we would rather fix issues than lose a customer.

SHIPPING: Shipping charges and quotes include postage and handling and are an estimate based on the item weight and size using USPS or UPS rates. Most packages are shipped USPS or UPS. Parts are shipped every week day, excluding holidays. P.O. boxes are fine. I do combine shipping when possible (limited by size, weight and fragile nature of item), please wait for an invoice to reflect shipping costs before sending payment. I do offer international shipping; for quotes please send a message through the item. Most international parts will be shipped USPS priority. We print shipping labels directly from PayPal, please ensure your address is correct in PayPal before purchasing your items - items can only be shipped to an address listed in the buyer's account.

COMMUNICATION: Please ask questions using the e-bay messaging system. We do not see notes left in the order details or invoices, only messages sent through e-bay.

ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:

If your country or shipping destination charges, demands, or imposes any customs tax, VAT, tariff, customs duty or levies, royalty, "handling", excise obligation, assessment, or any other charges that are due upon delivery you will accept sole responsibility for full payment as the buyer / recipient. Any items returned for non-payment of customs, dutes, taxes, fees etc... will require re-payment of shipping charges to be mailed again.

Please don't ask to end auction early I will not, they run to the end . And also if you plan on bidding plan on paying in reasonable time. I pride myself on prompt shipment, I would hope you would pride yourself on paying promptly. Payment is due within three (3) days of auction close, unpaid item cases are opened after the three day period. If you would like to combine orders from different auctions please message us so we can make arrangements.

If you see numbers like *954 or *982 these are just our inventory numbers and do not relate to the item.

Thank you and good luck bidding

AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days A Rousing Success

Mon, 29 Jul 2013

AMA members and motorcyclists from across the country celebrated the people, machines and sport of motorcycling at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring the riders and champions of Husqvarna, over the July 19-21 weekend. The annual gathering of tens of thousands of motorcycling enthusiasts participated in vintage racing, took in numerous bike shows, met their motorcycling heroes, purchased vintage parts and motorcycles in the massive swap meet, spent time with old friends, and met new ones, all at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. The AMA and the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, extend their appreciation to AMA members, racers, enthusiasts, collectors, restorers, fans, clubs, companies and others who supported the three-day celebration of motorcycling’s history and heroes.

The Best Racetrack You’ve Never Heard Of

Sat, 08 Nov 2008

Last week I had the opportunity to ride one of the best tracks in the world, but you’ve probably never heard of it. It’s called the Autopolis International Racing Course and is located in northern Kyushu, Japan, a 90-minute bus ride from the nearest city, Kumamoto. Autopolis is a wonderfully flowing, 2.9-mile track that rises and falls like a symphonic overture, with inclines that range up to 7.2% uphill, 10% downhill.

New 1972 Kawasaki Z1 only £720

Fri, 29 Jun 2012

Looking at the pictures of Japanese firm Yamato's new Kawasaki Z1 you'd be hard pushed to tell it's not the real thing. But in fact it's a scale model only just over a foot long, made with incredible attention to detail with several years of development to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original 900cc Z1 of 1972. Using 3D scanning of real parts, the bike was scaled down to create this model, which has now gone on sale in Japan at an eye-watering £720 apiece.
