Kawasaki KZ description

Rare bike! #16 of #200! These were some of the first Japanese motorcycles manufactured in America. Kawasaki personalized 200 KZ1000s for their dealers to ride in convoy from their manufacturing plant in Lincoln, Nebraska, to a reception in St. Louis Missouri, and then to their respective dealerships. The theme of the ride, "The Americanization of Kawasaki" was to focus on that they were the only Japanese motorcycle company with an operating facility in the US at the time. Special decals and equipment were installed by the accessory supplier, Vetter, to Kawasaki's specifications.

Overall shape is great. I should of took a few more pics of the bikes with the fairings etc on the bike. Front fairing and lowers are in great shape as are the side panels and gas tank. The saddle bags are in good shape as far as paint goes but both have cracks in the back please see pic where it mounts the the bike. All is included in the sale including mounting brackets and hardware. I took off as it takes up less space etc. I have seen #78 of #200 bring over 11k on ebay here but I am not sure of the value and will let eBay determine that. Bike has very low miles and runs well. Does need a new battery! Chrome is in great shape zero rust. Seat is perfect. Exhaust are rust free and in nice shape. This could be very easily a mint motorcycle. Polish motor etc. only real flaws are the clutch and brake master cylinder are starting to flake paint of themselves otherwise very exceptional bike!!!! Please see pics and ask questions. I am able to ship world wide as I own and export company. I am also willing to help arrange shipping within the USA.

This steam powered motorcycle (not a bicycle, 'cos it don't have no pedals), could be perfect for you if you like a brew at short notice on your Sunday ride. Built in 1894, it's about to be auctioned and is expected to reach a world record price (for a kettle). It uses a coal furnace to super-heat water into steam which is fed into a small engine.
