Kawasaki KD125 description

1977 KAWASAKI KD125 - NICE ORIGINAL SURVIVOR. RUNS AWESOME, VERY FAST. BIKE IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. IT HAS BEEN TORN DOWN CLEANED, PAINTED AND LUBED AND IT RUNS GREAT. IT COULD STILL USE A LITTLE TLC IN ORDER TO BE PERFECT. THIS BIKE IS NOT A TRAILER QUEEN AND IT HAS BEEN USED AND RIDDEN AND HAS SOME NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. I THINK THE TIRES ARE ORIGINAL AND THEY HAVE A LITTLE CRACKING. ONE SMALL PIN HOLE AND A SMALL PIECE OF BEADING IS LOOSE ON THE SEAT (SEE PICTURES). LOOK AT THE PICTURES CAREFULLY AND ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. Kawasaki Celebrates 40th Anniversary of Z1

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the ground-breaking Kawasaki Z1 which made its public debut in 1972, becoming what many would regard as the world’s first superbike. Kawasaki’s first large-capacity four-stroke multi-cylinder motorcycle took center stage at the 1972  IFMA, the precursor to the INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany. Together with the Honda CB750, the Kawasaki Z1 helped spearhead the popularity of the Japanese Inline-Four.

2013 AMA Supercross Anaheim 2 Race Report

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Ryan Villopoto claimed his first win of the 2013 AMA Supercross season and his first since the knee injury at last year’s Seattle round that kept him out of the 2012 AMA Motocross championship. The victory in front of 37,789 fans at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., made up for his disappointing 16th place finish two weeks earlier at the same site. His Monster Energy Kawasaki teammate Jake Weimer held the early advantage in the main event, taking the holeshot ahead of the Honda Muscle Milk duo of Justin Barcia and Trey Canard.

Speed and Fuel TV to Broadcast Kawasaki’s Zero to Hero Challenge Starting This Week

Tue, 14 Aug 2012

Early this year, thousands of drag racers chased the dream and entered Kawasaki’s nationally-promoted “Zero to Hero Challenge,” hoping for the opportunity to face-off against multi-time champion Rickey Gadson and take home a new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R. Beginning this week, Speed and Fuel TV will broadcast the Zero to Hero Challenge across several time slots. Both cable networks will treat viewers to an inside look at the process all contestants went through on their way to challenging Gadson on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway drag strip in May.
