Kawasaki Concours 14 description

2009 Kawasaki Concours 14 ABS with 13,400 miles. Will go up as I still ride it. Has Delkevic shorty exhaust which sounds fantastic in my opinion. Factory exhaust included as well. Helibar handlebar risers bring the bars up 2" and back toward the rider 3/4". Throttlemeister cruise control. VStream aftermarket windscreen (wider and taller). OEM windscreen also included. Ram Mount for GPS or cell phone.

These bikes are super powerful and very comfortable. The hard saddlebags are great for taking your gear with you. Shaft drive is smooth. Tires are in good shape. Previous owner tipped over in driveway while stopped and there are a couple scratches, but they are very hard to see. Noone ever sees them unless I point them out. Fresh Mobil1 Full Synthetic oil and K&N Oil Filter two weeks ago. Fresh Lucas Gear Oil in the shaft drive system two weeks ago.

KBB shows stock bike worth $7920. Get this one for less and have all the good accessories already installed. Bike is ready to ride and comes with both key fobs. I want to describe every aspect so there are no surprises. The front tire pressure sensor has a low battery. All this means is that the dash will show that the front tire pressure sensor battery is low for the first couple minutes you ride. It goes off after that.  For some reason, Kawasaki made the sensors to where the battery cannot be replaced, the entire sensor must be replaced.  It will cost $250 to have it replaced including labor, but my intent was to just have it done next time it needed a new front tire because it does not affect function in any way.  Just a notification on the dash for a couple minutes.  I have the clean/clear title in-hand.  Located in Indianapolis.

Bike is listed for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the listing at any time.  Would prefer local pick up.  Shipping will need to be arranged by buyer and I will help facilitate as much as I can.

Thanks for looking!

2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Recalled for ABS Modulator Issue

Thu, 25 Jul 2013

As we expected, a manufacturing error for a Nissin anti-lock brake modulator has led to a recall in the U.S. for the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300. (UPDATE: Transport Canada has also issued a recall for 745 units, in addition to the 1,083 units recalled in the U.S.) Kawasaki had already issued a recall in Japan for ABS-equipped versions of the 2013 Ninja 250, so it was no surprise that the 300, which uses nearly all of the same parts, would fall victim to the recall as well.

Combat mask: Kawasaki has upgraded the Ninja 650

Mon, 02 Sep 2019

Now the Ninja 650 is stylistically similar to the Ninja 400, the ZX-6R, and the 'one-liter' Versys. The optics are LED, the visor is narrower and higher. The second upgrade is a new 4.3-inch TFT instrument panel that can connect to a smartphone via the Rideology app.
