Bike runs excellent. Starts first kick. Complete engine and tranny rebuild over winter (Lonny's Cycle Performance). Complete suspension rebuild over winter (PR2, set to 74# rider). Comes with spare original plastic (KTM orange), spare rear wheel w/sprocket and rotor (no tire), rear tire tube, spare piston/ring/wrist pin/circlip kits(2), 4 spare Twin Air filters, air box cover (for when washing bike), and more. This bike is being sold as is. Actual hrs on bike might change as it will be ridden until sold. Bike is being listed for local sale also. Auction may be cancelled early if sold locally.

KTM Adventure 1290 Spied Testing

German photogs have captured images of a new prototype suspected to be the upcoming KTM Adventure 1290. The photos, published by Italian site InfoMotori, reveal a very early prototype with a large V-Twin engine, a 21-inch wire-spoke front wheel and KTM‘s distinctive orange frame. The profile resembles KTM’s current Adventure 99o, but the fairing appears more angular and the headlight appears to be new.

KTM Ready to Race Again, Entering Moto3 Class in 2012

KTM announced it will return to Grand Prix road racing in 2012 with a new racebike for the new 250cc four-stroke Moto3 class. The Austrian manufacturer discontinued its Grand Prix road racing program in 2009, withdrawing from the 125cc class (pictured above is current Moto2 racer Marc Marquez racing for the KTM factory team in the 2009 125cc class). With the Moto3 class set to replace the 125cc class in 2012, KTM will return with a new racebike.

  KTM has revealed a new lightweight entry-level off-road model with a claimed weight of just 99 kg (218 pounds). Set to debut at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan, Italy, the 2012 KTM Freeride 350 was created as an introductory model for off-road enduro riding. The Freeride 350 offers an easier entry point to off-road riding than the company’s competition-based EXC line.
