KTM Other description

IMMACULATE Extremely Rare 250 miles BRAND NEW! Never been raced or abused. Bike does NOT have a SINGLE scratch, scrape, etc. Nipples remain on tires, Title is clean, and in hand. KTM has tooled this lightweight, agile performance machine for the experienced street bike rider who is looking for something a little more than the standard super bikes. It barely weighs over 400lbs and it is made to dive into curves and explode out of them with the 1190cc motor. Since these bikes have only been in production for 2 years they are hard to come across and not too many have been made yet. This is a great alternative for anyone looking for a different bike than the commonly seen street bikes. This bike gets looks ALL the time because people don't know what it is. The ultimate power tool from KTM. KTM designers pulled out all the stops in the art of engine building when it came to the 1190 RC8 R 2012. The rider has one of the most powerful V2 engines of our times and one of the best chassis in the world at his or her disposal totally street-legal. With the precision to cut out the others when entering a curve. With the power and traction to pull away from them coming out of a curve. With the feedback and ergonomics to enjoy the 1190 RC8 R 2012 to the fullest.

EICMA 2012: KTM 390 Duke Announced – Let’s Hope It Comes to North America

Tue, 13 Nov 2012

KTM made a big entrance on the small-displacement streetbike segment in 2011 with its 125 Duke and in 2012, the 200 Duke. Both models were popular sellers in Europe while the 200 had a successful launch in India, home of one of KTM‘s largest owners, Bajaj. North American consumers were left out however, as neither of the smaller Dukes were imported to these shores.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.

Yoshimura have released a set of exhaust cans for the KTM Super Duke. The RS-3C slip-on is described as a new design for the slip-on end can, based on the traditional oval can but with carbon fibre coned end-caps incorporated. There is a considerable increase in performance over the standard can.
