Up for sale is a 2015 KTM RC8R Supersport motorcycle. We are a multi-line motorcycle dealership, selling new BMW, Honda, Suzuki, and Kawasaki motorcycles in addition to a few other brands. This one owner KTM
motorcycle was recently acquired in trade by our dealership. Our service department has performed an overall inspection & safety
check on this motorcycle, and everything is in good working condition.
This KTM RC8R belonged to a local Doctor who is over 65 years old & owns a collection of motorcycles. He is a regular client of our dealership for many years, and does all of his maintenance with us. We serviced this motorcycle for him over the past couple of seasons, and we even added the additional mirrors to the motorcycle per his request. The only other upgrade to this motorcycle is the comfortable aftermarket Corbin seat. Otherwise, this RC8R is all OEM and unmolested! This KTM has just over 4,284 miles and we hold a clean Massachusetts Title for this bike. This KTM RC8R engine starts easy, runs strong, transmission shifts through all the gears smoothly, so this motorcycle should bring the next owner many thousands of worry free miles. KTM The Fastest Growing Motorcycle Company In US For 2013
Mon, 09 Dec 2013November retail sales growth figures for KTM North America, Inc. have put the motorcycle company out front as the fastest growing motorcycle company in the US for 2013. KTM’s November unit sales rose 49% compared to the same month in 2012 and year-to-date numbers at the end of November showed KTM leading growth with a 28.8% increase.
KTM Issues Fuel Hose Recall on 7000 Motorcycles
Mon, 05 Nov 2012KTM is issuing a worldwide recall on approximately 7000 motorcycles from model year 2012 and 2013 for potential fuel hose leaks. The recall affects certain EXC, EXC-F, XC-F, XC-W, XCF-W, Freeride, SX-F, and Supermoto R models with electronic fuel injection. (See after the jump for specific models included in the recall.) According to KTM, a defect in the manufacturing process of the molded fuel hoses on affected models may lead to a fuel leak either at the ends or where the hoses bend.
Dainese Reveals D-Air Racing Thorax
Wed, 04 Sep 2013Dainese has revealed a new version of its airbag protection system for racers that adds protection to a rider’s chest named the D-Air Thorax. Like the D-Air Street, the Thorax uses an airbag that inflates upon a collision to protect the collarbone and torso, but has a more ergonomic design to suit a racer’s compact riding posture. The shoulder protection has also changed from the original D-Air Racing design, covering more of the shoulders’ sides as well as the collarbone area.
