KTM Other description

2012 KTM 690 ENDURO R, 2012 KTM 690 ENDURO R, I hate to see it go but just cant seem to find the time to ride. Purchased in January of this year with 3 miles on it (from the tuning). All miles have been on pavement and only for the purpose of keeping the fluids moving through it. Never seen the dirt, never dropped, tires still have the little strands on them. I have put on a skid plate, 1.5 inch Kouba lowering link, FMF Titanium pipe, and it has been professionally mapped, by SMS racing in Denton, Tx were the bike was purchased. Had hopes to do the Trans America Trail, but going to put that on hold a year or so and hate to see the bike just sit. I have all the original paperwork and parts. (I think I even have the little plastic covers that go over the instrument cluster and clutch cover. I have just about 1,000 in extras on this bike. Call with any questions 4zero5- eight30 - 69fivefour. PS I don't need help selling the bike. I appreciate the help, but I don't need it. No foreign deals either, sorry if you are stuck over seas, or your third cousin needs help, but I like to meet my buyers face to face. I promise you won't be disappointed. I have a loan on it, so cash in hand at the bank, or if you borrow on it your people can call my people and work it out. . Best of luck $9,500.00 4058306954 $9,500.00 4058306954

It was good to catch up with my old mate Daryl Beattie last weekend in Misano. Daryl was pushing Mick Doohan hard for the 500cc World Championship in 1995 until he high sided and broke his collar bone in Assen mid way through the year. He eventually finished runner up in the series but then some fairly big tumbles from his Lucky Strike Suzuki in 1996 brought his career to a premature end.

Day 3 Dakar 2014: Barreda Maintains Overall Lead, Despres Catches Up

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.

Helen Kurt Caselli Send-Off Attracts Thousands

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

In a touching tribute to Kurt Caselli, one of America’s brightest off-road racing stars, who tragically lost his life in a crash while competing in the Baja 1000, a gathering of over 2000 people descended upon Glen Helen Raceway to pay their final respects in a rolling tribute. The line of cars stretching back to the nearby freeway was a fitting reminder of just how many lives Caselli touched and how important a figure he was to many. Caselli’s KTM crew and teammates were just some of the many who came to pay their respects and take a ride-out in Kurt’s honor with his mom Nancy and fiancée Sarah at the head of the vast pack of motorcyclists. Motocrossers like Dean Wilson, Blake Baggett, Cole Seely and then other luminaries like AMA Superbike racer Chris Fillmore and off-roaders like Destry Abbott were part of the group.
