2009 WR 300 Husky. first owner bought new August. 3, 2011. I love this bike but never seem to have time to ride it. Due to faulty O-ring on top of cylinder - replaced top end. New Piston, rings, wrist pin and bearing and all new gaskets, reed valves, reed boot.($450) Just put it back together Wednesday and it purrs like a kitty. I just found out that I am losing my job and I will need money more than bike. Aftermarket radiator guards, super soft plush seat. Still has original tires. App. 350mis on it. Barely broke in. With new top-end this thing will scream. Call or text. Clear title in hand.**first owner - 52 yr. old - bought it from LSK in Missouri on August. 3, 2011 - he put 110 mis on it. The ninth stage took the field to the northernmost point of this year’s Dakar. The riders descended from yesterday’s plateau through the Atacama desert towards the Pacific Ocean. Sand and dunes challenged the athletes especially in the final third of the stage, demanding excellent navigation skills.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
