KTM EXC description

1989 KTM 350 EXC

This is an adult owned and ridden bike and has been very well maintained.

It is completely stock and very clean.

Here are some highlights:

  • Rear shock professionally rebuild to stock specifications
  • New rear fender & light
  • New rear brake pads
  • Fresh oil and coolant (Aug. 22)


Here are the lowlights/issues:

  • Trip odometer not working
  • Lights not working


This is a very clean bike.  It looks and runs great.  Starts easy and is fun to ride.

125, 200 Duke Models Drive KTM Sales

KTM is off to a strong start in 2012 with a 19% increase in motorcycle sales, thanks in large part to the popularity of its 125 Duke and 200 Duke. The Austrian manufacturer says the two small capacity streetbikes form a large portion of the 8300 units it has sold so far in 2012. Based on those numbers, KTM claims it leads all European manufacturers in sales over the first few months of the year.

KTM Presents 250cc Moto3 Engine

KTM revealed its new 250cc four-stroke engine that will be used in the Moto3 World Championship which is set to replace the 125cc class in 2012. The single cylinder engine is all new and not a repurposed motor from KTM‘s 250cc offroad engine portfolio and is said to weigh just 55 pounds. Official specs were not released, but Moto3 regulations dictate a maximum bore of 81mm, a rev limit of 14,000rpm.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Arlington Results

Defending champion Ryan Villopoto won his third consecutive AMA Supercross race in Arlington, Texas, but the victory was overshadowed by a season-ending injury suffered by one of his main challengers Chad Reed. TwoTwo Motorsport Honda‘s Reed trailed Villopoto in second place for the first six laps at Cowboys Stadium. Disaster struck on Lap 7 however as Reed crashed hard in the whoops.
