KTM 560 EXC/SMR description

You are looking at a one of a kind and super clean low hour KTM 560 EXC.

I am the second owner. The original owner built this bike and began with a 2006 KTM 450sx.  I can't possibly tell you all the things that have been done to this bike...but I know he spent over $10K on it.

The bike has 900 miles on it and has been a garage queen....and I am getting too old to ride much anymore,  and have several other bikes also.  The bike is in superb condition....absolutely near perfect.  It runs exceptionally well too....as I have 3 other Ktm 525's to compare it too, and this things absolutely rips.  I have a lot of experience with KTM bikes and have owned probably 50 of them.  Mechanically this bike is just awesome.  There are no issues what so ever.  I believe he used the factory street legal kit for this bike.

I purchased the bike as an SMR....and put a set of wheels and a set of forks on it....that is why the front wheel does not match the rear.

The SMR kit is high end..... has a set of shortened forks,  and the large caliper set up.  Baer wheels etc....and all like new....as this bike was just for show.  It is optional in the price and does not come with the bike.  This auction is for the bike as a dual sport.   I will sell the smr kit at a very reasonable price to the high bidder.

Bid with confidence.....I guarantee the condition.  I have included a pic of some of my other bikes....as a reference.

Please ask any questions you want.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Wed, 08 Dec 2010

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.

AMA Supercross: 2012 San Diego Results

Mon, 13 Feb 2012

Ryan Villopoto captured his second straight victory, winning the San Diego round of the 2012 AMA Supercross championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider now has three wins on the season, two more than anyone else, but his hold on the championship points lead has only increased to six points. Villopoto took the lead on the second lap of the main event after overtaking Brett Metcalfe of Yoshimura Suzuki who took the holeshot, with Villopoto‘s teammate Jake Weimer also in the lead group.

KTM Signs Jordi Viladoms to Race Dakar Rally

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

It’s never easy to replace someone you’ve lost, but life invariably must go on. KTM recognizes this, announcing the signing of Jordi Viladoms to its Dakar Rally factory team to take the spot of Kurt Caselli who succumbed to injuries in a crash at the SCORE Baja 1000. “We are very aware that no one is able to replace Kurt, who was a special friend and teammate, but we believe that what we need now for the team is stability,” says Alex Doringer, manager of the Red Bull KTM Rally team.
