Indian Other description

YOU ARE BIDDING ON A VERY RARE PAIR OF INDIAN ENDURO MOTORCYCLES AS SHOWN. THEY ARE 1974 ME-100'S. THE BLACK 1 WAS RESTORED A FEW YEARS AGO WITH A FEW AFTERMARKET PARTS. IT NEEDS TIRES AND A CLUTCH CABLE AND IT FIRES RIGHT UP AND RUNS GOOD JUST DON'T GIVE IT ANY GAS. THE RED 1 IS A SURVIVOR AND IS PRETTY MUCH ALL STOCK, IT NEEDS TIRES, BATTERY, COIL, SPARK PLUG AND A FEW OTHER PARTS. IT IS ABOUT 85 PERCENT COMPLETE. THESE ARE VERY HARD TO FIND LET ALONE PURCHASE. THEY ARE SO HARD TO FIND BECAUSE MOST ARE IN SOMEONES COLLECTION ALREADY AND THERE WERE ONLY 500 OF THEM MADE AND EVEN LESS WERE SOLD. I HAVE AN ARIZONA TITLE ON THE RED 1 AND A BILL OF SALE FOR THE BLACK ONE. THE BLACK 1 WAS STOLEN AT 1 TIME THEN FOUND IN A STORAGE LOCKER A FEW YEARS LATER. IT WAS RETURNED TO IT'S OWNER AND I WILL INCLUDE THAT PAPERWORK AS WELL. ALL 500 SAT IN A WAREHOUSE FOR 2yrS UNTIL SOME LAW SUIT COULD BE SETTLED. AT THAT POINT THEY WERE STILL NEW BUT, NOT A CURRENT YEAR MODEL. THESE WERE MADE FOR AN ADULT AND I AM TOLD THEY CAN HANDLE THE 250CC MOTOR AS WELL. THE VIN AND THE MOTOR #'S MATCH ON BOTH BIKES. THEY ARE SOLD AS IS AND NON-RETURNABLE. SO, PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY ARE WHAT YOU WANT BEFORE PURCHASING THEM. THANK YOU. THE BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PICK UP AND I PREFER CASH WHEN THAT IS DONE.

Ace Motorcycle Predecessor to Indian Four

Wed, 24 Dec 2008

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. This old adage has never been more accurate than when describing a rare collection of motorcycle drawings from 1919 that were recently found in a trash bin.
