Indian Other description

1950 Indian motorcycle with vertical 149 cc engine. I have had this bike for awhile with all of the intentions of finishing the restoration, making a few changes, and riding, however, we now have another baby on the way and I simply don’t have the time. (Other things are taking priority.) It runs great but needs adjustments made to the carburetor and a few other odds and ends to be road worthy. From my research, it appears to be a 250 frame with a 149 vertical motor. The motor's number plate is still blank from the factory. A classic bike that is very rare and is in nice condition. Please contact me with any questions before purchase. There is not a title recorded for this bike--bill of sale. This should make a fun bike to ride when finished!

Vintage Bike Stash Found in Ohio

Mon, 05 Mar 2012

Brim’s Imports is a vintage motorcycle shop disguised as a used car dealership, and chances are you’ve never heard of the place or its proprietor, Tom Brim. If you’re in the market for a rare vintage motorcycle, however, it may behoove you to give Tom or his brother, Ralph, an old fashion phone call. A website does exist, brimsimport.com, but its for searching the inventory of late model car and truck parts — the cash flow supporting Tom’s motorcycle obsession.

The April 30th – May 4th, 2014 event kicks off with a party at the Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort and Tiki Bar, featuring the bands Mustang Sally and Big Engine.

Polaris Industries continues to throw more support behind the revived Indian Motorcycle brand with a new customer incentive it calls the “Indian Motorcycle Assurance Program”.
