Indian Chief description
NO RESERVE 2001 Indian Chief (less than 2000 bikes made that year) Beautiful two tone red and white paint, well taken care of, it has the very popular SS 88 (1500cc) engine with SS carbs, only 16,811 miles (might be higher by the time it's sold). 100th year anniversary medallion in the primary cover. The saddle bags are original and are worth of over $2000 alone. I am the second owner of this bike, the first purchased it new in 2002, it's never been laid down (taking the first owners word for it). The chrome is in great shape, the only blemishes is in the chrome rims, some rust spots that were there when I bought it. New back tire, front caliper and master cylinder has been rebuilt this year, new throttle and idler cable, not installed yet, runs great the way it is. Aftermarket Trunk bag (not pictured) will be included also. This is bound to be a collectors item. I am selling it locally also, just outside of Jackson MI. I reserve the right to deny bids according to bid history. Buyer is responsible for shipping. No trades no low balls, I don't need the money. Happy bidding |

Tue, 06 Aug 2013This is a small sample of the participants in Monday’s annual Legends Ride from Deadwood to Sturgis. Hundreds of bikes thundered through the Black Hills toward Sturgis on Monday afternoon, creating a cacophony not heard in these parts since, well, last year. The sixth annual Legends Ride draws thousands of riders, spectators and celebrities to the historic city of Deadwood, South Dakota each year on a charitable pilgrimage to the Buffalo Chip Campground, and organizers said Monday’s edition was likely the largest ever.
