NEW Handlebar protection pad with graphic design. NEW Domino all-black handgrips with softer compound. NEW IPD (in-mold plastic design) shroud graphics updated with sleek new look. NEW Improved sticker quality on side plate graphics. WR125 comes with 144cc top-end bore kit including cylinder and piston. Compact, lightweight 124.8cc two-stroke motor with mechanically controlled power valve. Kayaba 48mm open-cartridge fork and Sachs shock provide a plush ride. 2012 Husqvarna Nuda 900R Makes Public Debut
Wed, 14 Sep 2011The 2012 Husqvarna Nuda 900R made its public debut in Frankfurt, Germany, in the courtyard outside BMW’s display hall. Displayed together with other Husqvarna models as well as motorcycles from parent company BMW. The display bikes were all anchored firmly to their stands and test rides were not available but I did get some seat time on the Nuda.
2015 Husqvarna Off-Road Lineup Revealed
Fri, 27 Jun 2014Husqvarna Motorcycles revealed its 2015 dirtbike model lineup with a number of upgrades, most noticeably the use of WP Suspension’s 4 chamber fork across the entire motocross line. Many of the updates are similar to those introduced on the 2015 KTM lineup, which should be no surprise after Husqvarna was acquired by KTM’s Chief Executive Officer Stefan Pierer. The 2015 motocross lineup includes the four-stroke FC250, FC350, FC450 and TC85 and the two-stroke TC125 and TC250.
Day 1 Dakar 2014: Barreda Draws First Blood
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Team HRC’s Joan Barreda on the Honda CRF450 Rally, got off to a storming start in day one of the 2014 Dakar rally, clocking up the fastest time of all the 175 riders at the first time-check. The former Husqvarna rider who moved to Honda in the middle of the season inaugurated his 2014 Dakar with an acrobatic performance. The motorcycle competition was expected to be wide open, and that is indeed what the classification shows after the opening stage. It was a very early start for the Rally Dakar. The pack of riders headed off at four in the morning on a long 251 miles that took them towards the vibrant city of Rosario for the start of the 112 mile special.
