Up for bid is a 1973 Husqvarna WR125 project motorcycle. No title. Off road use only. If you have a zero feedback, you must contact before bidding. Frame # MJ-03846. Engine # 2027. The bike has been sitting since the late 1990's. It does not run. The motor turns over with great compression. Has spark. Looks to be complete. It has Ceriani rear shocks, Leleu hubs. Akront wheels. Gas tank, has a large indent on top, looks to have some light rust inside, but solid. Wheels looks straight. Handle bars are bent on the right side. front and rear brakes work. clutch works, shifts through the gears. please see all of my pictures before bidding. Husqvarna Developing ABS for Off-Road Use
Thu, 03 Nov 2011Husqvarna announced it will introduce the worlds’ first anti-lock braking system designed for off-road racing, equipping a BMW-developed off-road ABS to Husqvarna’s flagship TE449. On paved roads, ABS prevents wheels from locking up, keeping them rotating and providing traction. Off the pavement however, rear wheel lockup is helpful for stopping on loose surfaces such as dirt and gravel.
Husqvarna Baja Concept Unveiled at New York IMS

At first glance, the Husqvarna Baja Concept appears similar to the Moab concept unveiled at the 2011 EICMA Show last November. Both models are aesthetically inspired by Husqvarna motorcycles from the ’70s and especially Steve McQueen‘s Husqvarna H400 famously immortalized on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Pierer Industries AG is owned by Stefan Pierer, who happens to be chief executive officer of KTM, which also happens to be the parent company of Husaberg. That’s three European motorcycle manufacturers with strong off-road lineages in the same family.
