Honda Z50 description

1979 Honda Z50R. The bike was taken completely apart and sanded and repainted. Many of the bolts, nuts and washers were replaced. The front shocks were removed and repacked with grease. The front stem was repacked with grease. The engine will start when you coast it in gear but unable to start from the kick start because what i believe is from low compression. I was able to coast start the bike going down a hill and shift the bike through the gears which all seem to work well going in and out of gear. The bike does start when coast starting but doesn't run smooth.  I repainted the entire bike but am not a expert painter. Listed below is the new parts and the items I believe will need replaced or fixed to make the bike an everyday rider.

New Items
New tires front and rear with new inter tubes - still have the nubs
New front and rear fender - fit great and are mount securely
New Brakes front and rear
New front brake cable
New points - set to OEM specs
New stator
New condensor
New Ignition coil
New seat cover - fits great
New factory Honda side cover
New Carb
New Carb filter and housing
New Mushroom Grips
New dust covers on the front shocks
New stop switch
Changed and flushed the engine oil

Items that need attention:
Chain guard - currently not one on the bike
Exhaust - has holes, possible JB Weld or a new one on Ebay for $49.00 includes shippig
Gas Tank - current one works and doesn't leak but has dents and rust inside the tank. I wet sanded inside the tank and got most of the rust out. Gas cap doesn't sell well and some has come out onto the paint and smeared it. New tank is $69.00 on Ebay and includes shipping.
Throttle cable works but is the incorrect one for the bike. $12.00 on Ebay.
Engine needs rebuilt.

I have tried to list everything I know about the bike so there is no surprises for the new owner.

I don't want to be a jerk but have had lately high bidder not pay for there items so the following rules will apply. If you have less than 10 feedback don't bid on this auction, if you have less than 95% positive feedback don't bid on this auction. I will have you bid removed in either situation.

Full payment is expected within 24 hours of the auction closing.

I am willing to work with your shipper, but bidder is responsible for all shipping cost including shipping/packing/crating.

I am willing to deliver the bike 200 miles for an additional $200.00 on top of what the bid ends at.

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

The Michael Dunlop Show continues with the 24-year-old Northern Irish racer winning his fourth race of the 2013 Isle of Man TT. His latest triumph was a victory in the second Monster Energy Supersport race, making Dunlop just the third rider to ever record four wins in a single TT week. Like his win in the Royal London 360 Superstock race, Dunlop ran most of the race in second place before setting a blazing final lap time for a come-from-behind win.

Ram Charges Motorcyclist, Now With RamCam! + Video

Thu, 10 Apr 2014

Rams don’t like their spaces being encroached on. But this ram is especially turned off by noisy motorcyclists. Browse around YouTube long enough and you’re bound to find videos of rams charging after two-wheelers, but it’s not often you’ll see something like this!
